6 Reasons why you should complete nationally recognised drug and alcohol testing officer training?

(Of course we mean if you are carrying drug and alcohol testing in the workplace and have not already done the training.)

First and foremost Accreditted testing Officer Training is a minimum requirement of both AS4308  and AS4760* for onsite drug testing.

Secondly, this nationally recognised course covers more than an instruction guide on using a breathalyser, urine drug test and saliva drug test.

It covers the procedures for collecting specimens as well as the managing the donor aspects including incorrect use of the equipment, "shy bladder", refusal to be tested.

The course is very hands on so that everybody conducts a breathalyser test, and both a saliva and urine drug test. Role playing is also an important component of the course with specimen requests covered under normal conditions, as well as agressive or abusive situations and situations where the donor may be exerting excessive authority.

The record keeping aspects are also covered including the requirements to keep a permanent record and chain of custody requirements.

Nationally recognised training ensures the highest quality of training as well as being accepted throughout Australia. This course has been compressed into a single day of training with pre reading of course materials required to ensure great value for money without sacrificing the quality of the course.

Here's what our past participants had to say:

"Very informative and well presented"

"Good subject matter and interesting, presenters obviously very good at their jobs"

"Great student participation"

"Very helpful with personal questions and needs"

The course is delivered regularly around Australia at a cost of $660 per person including GST.  Click here for more information or to book now.
